Works okay, but always working..?

Reasonably accessible interface for the mobile version of our intranet. It takes some time to upload or view content. And it seems like its always refreshing which makes me wonder if its eating up my data plan.
Im frustrated when I shake to edit and cant - jive reassigned a core function of iOS that I use all the time. At least give us a choice in options... Can I have that back?
